A Musical Event in the Key of Sea
Symphony on the Sand is a collaborative effort among Anna Maria Island Chamber of Commerce, Bradenton Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, Anna Maria Island Concert Chorus & Orchestra, and Manatee County. The event is being supported by Bright House Networks, Bay News 9, the Bradenton Herald Newspaper Group, public radio station WUSF, WSMR Classical Station 89.1 and local Anna Maria Island businesses.
Guests at sponsorship tables will receive small plates created by top local restaurants plus fine wines and beer. Individual seats with or withour food and drinks may also be purchased.
The event will take place from 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. and features a full 45 piece orchestra, chorus and professional soloists performing sounds of Broadway, classical music and patriotic American songs. The event will be co-emceed by Bay News 9 anchor Al Ruechel, and Bethany Cagle of WSMR 89.1.
