A 26-year-old Hudson man was arrested on a domestic battery charge after he put dish soap in his girlfriend’s mouth during an argument, according to deputies.
According to Bay News 9’s newspaper partner the Tampa Bay Times, John Caruso told deputies his parents used to wash out his mouth with soap when he swore.
Caruso told deputies he had warned his girlfriend three times to stop cursing so as not to wake the couple's two sleeping children, according to the Times.
Caruso was booked into the Land O’ Lakes jail.
