It’s not Halloween yet, but police say a few suspects are stocking up.

Police are looking for three men they say stole $430 worth of candy from Wal-Mart located at 7450 Cypress Gardens Blvd. in Winter Haven.

The theft happened on July 19 at approximately 3:10 p.m.

Police even say evidently, what was on the shelf was not enough, because the suspects asked an associate if there was more candy in the back.

The associate went to the back stock room retrieving more candy and brought it to the suspects.

Police say the men left the candy isle and separated through the grocery area briefly before meeting back up at the doors, exiting without attempting to pay for the merchandise.

The three suspects can be seen clearly in the surveillance photos above. The men are described as followed:

  • White male approximately 5'11", 45-50 years of age, approximately 230 pounds and balding. He was wearing a black t-shirt with "I'm Ok But My Game Is Sick" in big white letters and dark gray shorts.
  • White male approximately 5'11", early 20's wearing a black shirt with "AND 1" on front, long blue jeans and wearing a white hat with a dark rim. This suspect also has a tattoo on his neck with lettering.
  • Black male approximately 6'2", early to late 20's wearing a white t-shirt, dark colored shorts with black socks and sandals. He was also wearing a necklace, beige straw hat and sunglasses.

Anyone with information on the identity of these suspects is asked to call Heartland Crime Stoppers at 1-800-226-TIPS (8477).

Callers can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward.
