The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is investigating the discovery of a body in the Intracoastal waterway at St. Pete Beach.

Officials said no foul play is involved.

Detectives assigned to the Robbery/Homicide Unit are working to identify the male body found in the waterway behind a home on Boca Ciega Drive in St. Pete Beach.

The body was first spotted by a resident fishing on a dock just before 9 a.m.

Officials have not identified the body as of yet.
