St. Petersburg police are investigating a fatal overnight shooting.
According to detectives, James Dean, 37, was shot at a home on Irondale Street just before midnight.
Dean was involved in an argument with someone just before being shot multiple times, police said.
Dean was transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police said they do not have any suspects or a motive yet.
