The city of Dunedin is getting high marks in an audit of its new utility billing system.

According to our partners at the Tampa Bay Times, the city hired a company to perform the audit after billing problems were discovered in 2009.

The city had undercharged commercial customers for water and sewage usage for seven years. Dunedin lost more than $2 million because of it.

The company that performed the audit calls the new billing system clean and well-run.
