Polk County officials have issued a precautionary boil water notice for customers located in Imperial Lakes near Mulberry because of a water main break.
The notice impacts 309 customers off of Misty Lake Drive, Rock Ledge Lane, Heather Glynn Drive, Wood Song Court and Black Birch Terrace, authorities said.
Once service is restored, these customers should drink bottled water and/or boil water to a rolling boil for at least one minute for cooking or drinking.
The notice will be in effect until water sampling shows the water to be safe.
