Tampa police say the windows were smashed out of dozens of cars over the last three days.
Police said someone is throwing rocks into cars around Ballast Point in South Tampa. As of Monday, police said 30 cars have been vandalized.
Car owner Nick Daredeau said the damage is a major inconvenience.
"Since the whole windshield caved in I couldn't drive it, so I had to wait for them to come fix it this morning, so I couldn't take my kids to school because the glass was all in their car seat so I had to wait for them to replace the windshield so now I can drive the car," he said.
Police said they estimate the cost of the damage to be more than $10,000.
