Help is available for Manatee County veterans who need a home.
Manatee County Habitat for Humanity will hold an information session Thursday at 6 p.m. for veterans interested in learning more about becoming a homeowner.
At the meeting, veterans will learn about the Homebuyer program and eligibility requirements for building and purchasing a Habitat home. Prospective homeowners must live or work in Manatee County and meet certain income and credit guidelines.
