Simmons Park Beach in Ruskin is under a health alert.
According to the Hillsborough County Department of Health, the beach waters contain a high level of bacteria. That could potentially be dangerous to swimmers.
The water will be tested again on Monday.
County health officials have been testing the waters twice a week for 14 years as part of the healthy beaches monitoring program.
