A cold front moved through the Bay area early Friday morning which allows for cooler air to move into the region today.

According to Bay News 9 meteorologist Juli Marquez, temperatures will be cooler today and winds will increase behind the front.

"It will be nice for Halloween night," Marquez said. "It will be dry but cooler and breezy. The cold front is pushing south and that will allow for today's morning clouds to clear out."

High temperatures Friday will be in the upper 70s. This evening the temperatures will drop into the 60s for trick or treating.

A second cold front moves through Tampa Bay early Saturday. It will be windy and colder this weekend.

The temperatures will continue to drop over the weekend with highs in the 60s on Saturday and Sunday. Lows Sunday morning will be in the 40s and some 30s in the Bay area's northern counties.

There will be a gradual warmup next week.
