Two people have been arrested in Crystal River after a multi-department drug arrest.

According to the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, the busts took place Tuesday at a rented mobile home in the 4200 block of North Ashton Terrace.

Officials said Citrus deputies, along with Levy County deputies and a Meth Task Force team, executed a search warrant and found 35 reactionary vessels, also known as one-pot labs.

Crews also found other meth-making paraphernalia, including hydrochloric gas generators. The discoveries prompted authorities to dispatch a hazardous materials team to the home.

Lindsey Houghwot, 27 and Jordan Kennedy, 23, were arrested and charged with felony manufacturing of methamphetamine, and other drug-related offenses.

Code enforcement officials said the home, which was in deplorable condition, may be condemned. Two children also living in the home were placed in state custody.

Officials said the mobile home's owner was not aware of the drug situation and has cooperated with law enforcement.

"Many of us have been doing this a long time, and this is some of the worst filth and living conditions we've seen," said Citrus Sheriff's Sgt. Ed Blair. "To know that kids lived here is absolutely heartbreaking."
