A Pinellas County Sheriff’s deputy and a pedestrian were injured in separate crashes in the county Tuesday night.

The first crash involved a deputy and another vehicle. It happened on US 19 near Tampa Road in Palm Harbor.

The deputy was transported to Mease Countryside Hospital. The driver of the other vehicle was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Both have non-life threatening injuries.

The second crash involved a pedestrian hit by a vehicle on Curlew Road near US 19 in Dunedin.

A man in his mid-40s was crossing in the westbound lane of Curlew Road when he was hit by a vehicle.

The man was airlifted to Bayfront Hospital in unknown condition.

Both incidents remain under investigation.
