The city of Port Richey is considering moving its boat ramp to address a parking shortage.

According to our partners at the Tampa Bay Times, the city is considering moving the ramp at Nicks Park on Bayview Street to the city's larger Waterfront Park on nearby Old Post Road.

The move could create about 60 more parking spaces.

The Times reports that the city has been looking to encourage growth along its waterfront, but that a lack of parking has been a problem.

However, not everyone is on board with the idea, as some peopole say they are worried a parking lot would ruin the park.
