A Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office K9 once injured in the line of duty is retiring.
Kilo was shot by a suspect in 2010 in the City of Brooksville.
The police dog recovered and returned to full duty.
He worked until just a few weeks ago with his handler, Corporal Stephen Miller.
Kilo will be honored today with a retirement party.
