A fight that broke out at a Bradenton Hooter's restaurant Sunday night sent one man to the hospital and landed three others in jail.

According to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office, a group of people were sitting at an outdoor table at the Hooters at 4908 14th St. W., around 6 p.m. Sunday when three other men were walking past their table.

Words were exchanged and an argument broke out.

During the argument, of the suspects, Christopher Reif, 22, grabbed the arm of 32-year-old Noah Jarvis and attempted to take his cell phone. Two other suspects, Fernando Lopez, 21, and Alberto Lara, 20, also started punching Jarvis, who was able to retain his cell phone.

Meanwhile, another patron in the restaurant, Roger Ferris, 60, came to Jarvis' aid but was knocked down and beaten by the younger men.

A restaurant manager then stopped the fight and ordered the suspects out, who, before leaving, threatened to attack the manager also. The manager then called the sheriff's office.

Deputies responded to the restaurant, investigated and were able to locate the suspects a short time later.

Reif, Lopez and Lara were each charged with unarmed robbery, battery, threatening an officer, resisting arrest and threatening violence.

Jarvis was taken to Manatee Memorial Hospital in unknown condition while Ferris declined EMS treatment.
