A dense fog advisory has been issued for Hernando and Citrus counties.
Forecasters say dense fog is likely to develop overnight, possibly reducing visibility to a quarter-mile or less. Drivers should exercise caution when driving as a result.
Dense fog is also possible south of those counties, which means the advisory may be expanded during the overnight hours.
The advisory is in effect until Tuesday at 9 a.m. Once the fog dissipates, high temperatures will be close to normal, with most of the Bay area in the low 70s.
