A man in his early 20s was shot to death in a parking area behind a Temple Terrace shopping plaza on Friday night, police said.
Investigators say a a midsize, gray sedan pulled into the parking lot of the Winn-Dixie plaza at 8837 N 56th St. around 9:30 p.m. and a man got out to talk to another man. Shots were fired.
The man who had exited the vehicle was shot once in the chest. He was discovered by a passing motorist around 9:40 p.m. in the area of St. Augustine Avenue and S Glen Arven Avenue. Police have not released his identity.
The vehicle's driver, 19-year-old Brett Kutzler, is wanted for questioning, police said.
