Polk County deputies are looking for a Winter Haven man who they said stabbed a man and threatened to kill him on Saturday morning.

Deputies obtained a warrant for the arrest of 30-year-old Travis "Pinky" Barrientos on attempted second-degree murder charges.

Early Saturday morning Barrientos got into a fight with 32-year-old Juan Bautista on Rifle Range Road in Wahneta. During the altercation, Barrientos stabbed Bautista repeatedly, and screamed he was going to kill him, deputies said.

Bautista was taken to Lakeland Regional Medical Center where he was treated and released.

Barrientos is described as 6 feet tall, and around 205-215 lbs.

He has several tattoos.

Barrientos has been in the Polk County Jail on three prior occasions for shooting into occupied dwelling, domestic violence, fleeing to elude, possession of meth, grand theft auto, and attempted first degree murder, for which he was sentenced to 10 years in prison and was just released in November 2013, among others.
