Interim Lakeland Police Chief Larry Giddens has been cleared of allegations he harassed an officer last year.
A former officer with the Lakeland Police Department filed charges against Giddens, saying the interim police chief threatened his job and wanted him to move out of an apartment he was living in.
Giddens admitted to calling and talking to the man, but not harassing him.
According to our partners at the Ledger, officials concluded their investigation into the allegations, saying they were unfounded.
