A Sarasota circus performer is getting national attention this week.
Christian Stoinev, 22, has advanced to the next round on America's Got Talent.
Stoinev is a fifth generation circus performer from Sarasota.
The Circus Arts Conservatory said how proud they are of Stoinev. They said he's still planning to perform in the summer Circus Spectacular at home before heading out to New York.
Ringling Museum tweeted on Friday, "Congrats to Christian, Scooby and @CircusSarasota."
