The Pasco Sheriff's Office announced a major arrest Tuesday involving drug trafficking.

According to Sheriff Chris Nocco, the bust took down a man called one of the biggest pill dealers in Zephyrhills.

A 16-month investigation led to the confiscation of nearly 50 weapons from the residence of Mark Eisenberg, located at 29341 Laughridge Place, Wesley Chapel.

Deputies also found prescription pills, marijuana, thousands of dollars in cash, EBT cards and gift cards.

Nocco said Eisenberg, 55, who was usually armed during transactions, would take people to doctor shop all over the Bay area and then resell their prescription pills out of his home and his Zephyrhills-based "Carpet Outlet" business, many times in front of his 7-year-old son.

"What kind of parents are these? Well look before you. Drug dealers," said Sgt. Bill Davis. "I've got no respect for these people that they are going to do this around their children."

Eisenberg is charged with armed trafficking oxycodone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone, morphine, possession with intent to sell clonazapam, propoxyphene, amphetamines, carisoprodol, alprazolam, and marijuana, and battery on a law enforcement officer. He also is facing two counts of possession of personal issued identification based on the EBT cards discovered.

Eiseberg's girlfriend Joyce Staford was arrested for possession of amphetamines, possession of marijuana (felony) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Drugs and money were found buried in the ground at both locations. More arrests may follow.

"You can see what was involved here," Nocco said. "You can see if he started bartering some of this on the street, what couldn've been done to possibly hurt an innocent person out there. To be used in a drug deal and kill someone in this communty."
