Some Hernando County students took advantage of a unique internship this summer.

"I know that what I am doing here goes to help someone else," Hollenbeck said.

The internship gave the teenagers the chance to help others while learning about computers and technology at the same time.

Owner James Tomasello helped put the internship together. He said the students refurbished about 15 computers over the summer.

"They are very bright, young individuals," Tomasello said. "They have learned quite a bit."

Hollenbeck said it was a great way to spend his free time and he hopes to do it again next summer.

"Definitely yeah, if I can," he said.
