In Pasco County, voters decided two County Commission races and a school board seat on Tuesday.

In District 2, 43-year-old Mike Moore, a small business owner, won with 55 percent of the vote. Moore will take on Democrat Erika Remsberg in the Nov. 4 general election.

Both are vying to succeed fellow Republican Pat Mulieri, who's stepping down from the commission after 20 years.

In District 4, incumbent Henry Wilson lost to Mike Wells Jr., the son of Mike Wells Sr., a former county commissioner who has served as Pasco's property appraiser for 18 years.

Wells, 42, received 68 percent of the vote. He is a real estate agent and former manager for Enterprise-Rent-a-Car in charge of Tampa Bay area counties. He worked a few years for Pasco County Utilities and Port Richey parks department.

Wilson, 40, served one term as a county commissioner.

Because there is no Democrat running, this Republican primary decides the race.

District 4 runs from east of U.S. 19 to east of U.S. 41 and from south of State Road 52 to north of State Road 54.
