The Hernando County Parks Department will be closing the playground at Linda Pedersen Park, located at 6300 Shoal Line Blvd., Spring Hill, on Thursday, August 21.
County staff will be replacing the 21-year-old playground equipment.
The playground will reopen on September 5.
