Mulberry man dies after crashing pickup truck off I-4

A Mulberry man was killed early Sunday when he crashed his pickup truck while exiting Interstate 4 onto County Line Road.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Daniel Keith Caveney, 57, was traveling west at 12:38 a.m. in a 1984 Chevy pickup when he failed to negotiate the exit ramp onto County Line Road.

The truck spun, left the roadway and careened into a ditch, where it overturned. Caveney, who was not restrained, was ejected. He died at the scene, troopers said.
