A 32-year-old Pasco County man has been jailed in the burglary of a convenience store.

According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, Justin Don Teixuroage broke into JJ’s Discount Beverage on U.S. 19 in Hudson on Sept. 26 by cutting a hole in the roof.

Authorities said Teixuroage cut a hole in the roof and the dry wall ceiling before dropping down to the floor of the store.

He then tipped over a coin game machine and emptied it of $80 in coins, cash and watches inside of the game, according to officials. Then he climbed out of the same hole in the roof.

Authorities said Teixuroage was tracked down after witnesses contacted them. A witness told the sheriff’s office that before the burglary Teixuroage told the witness he was going to "hit a lick." He then later gave the witness two new watches that later matched those stolen from the coin game in the store.

Deputies said while being questioned, Teixuroage admitted to the burglary, spontaneously saying "I did JJ’s."

Authorities said Teixuroage then further described how he "did the job" at the store.
