The areas of rain were more scattered today, but we still had numerous showers move through the region.

According to Bay News 9 meteorologist Brian McClure, there will be a few lingering showers moving in from the Gulf overnight into early Wednesday morning.

“Otherwise you can expect partly cloudy skies and lows in the low to mid 70s. Slightly drier air will move in Wednesday. There will still be some scattered storms, but fewer in number, with the rain chance down to 40 percent," McClure said.
