St. Petersburg Police have identified a suspect in the fatal shooting of a 24-year-old man early Tuesday in St. Petersburg.

According to officials, several people were at outside a home in the 2500 block of Queensboro Avenue South just before midnight.

A witness said one person in the group pulled out a handgun and, without warning, fired multiple shots at another person in the group.

The victim, Clinton N. Bailey, was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg, but later died.

The suspect has been identified as 30-year-old Devin Pierre-Antione Dixon. Efforts to locate Dixon so far have been unsuccessful and investigators are seeking the public's help to locate him.

Police said his last known address was on the 2200 block of Colson Road in Plant City.

Dixon is 6'3", 250 lbs and goes by the nickname of "D'Smooth." He is believed to be armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information regarding Dixon's whereabouts is asked to contact Special Deputy Chris Herron of the U.S. Marshals Service at 727-639-1167. A $2,000 cash reward is available for information leading to Dixon's arrest.

Detectives are investigating and have released no information on a possible suspect.
