It's going to be a chilly night.

According to Bay News 9 Chief Meteorologist Mike Clay, a frost advisory is posted tonight for Citrus and inland Hernando counties. Lows are expected to be in the lower to middle 30s.

Wednesday's morning lows were in the 40s with some 30s in Hernando and Citrus counties.

Thursday morning likely will be the coldest Bay area morning of the week with lows in the mid 30s in our northern counties and the low 40s in Tampa. Frost is possible especially north of Tampa Bay late tonight and early Thursday morning.

There will be a gradual warming trend this weekend.
