Young Noah Vinot is a most remarkable little guy.  Everyday Hero host Bill Murphy met him with his mom at dad at his school in New Port Richey.

He just had his 6th birthday. Most kids would be excited about all the gifts.

But then, right before his party, he told his mom something that brought tears to her eyes.

“I cried when he first told me he didn’t want them to bring birthday presents.  He wanted them to bring Christmas presents for kids who weren’t going to have Christmas,” his mom, Kendell Vinot, said.

Noah, with help from mom and dad and his family church, has set up a toy drive.  Its theme:  Disney’s ‘Frozen.’  His plan:  to get Christmas presents for homeless kids.

And he’s even donating the toys he got this past birthday.

He explained how it works.

“They’ll all bring some presents and then we’ll give them to the homeless people that want those presents,” Noah Vinot said.

When asked why he’d do something like that, he said, “Because it’s nice to do stuff like that.”

Noah’s compassion came as no surprise to those who know him.

“Very proud.  Very proud of him. He’s always thinking about others. He always has,” Noah’s mom said.

People wanting to contribute need only go to his webpage:  noahsfaith.com.

“It’s our hope that each child gets four gifts. Something they want.  Something they need.  Something they can wear.  And something they can read,” Kendall Vinot said.

Noah wants to do it all again next year.  Right after the food drive for the homeless that he’s planning.

When asked about what he wanted to be when he grows up, Noah has a plan of action.

“A ninja,” Noah said.

A ninja with a heart of gold.
