Pasco County Animal Services has issued an urgent call for help.
The county's shelter is packed with stray dogs and cats. Recently the shelter had 171 dogs and 53 cats at the facility, with more than a dozen dogs living in their overflow room in crates and even more due to come in.
Shelter officials released a video showing the animals available for adoption on their Facebook page. They hope people who recognize their animals will come in and claim them.
The animals that are not claimed are available for adoption, and fees are $10 until the end of the month.
