The Winter Haven Police Department has scheduled its first community chat of 2015 Thursday night. It gives residents an opportunity to speak one-on-one with the Police Chief Charlie Bird and his command staff.
The chat is set for 6:30 p.m. in the club house at Lake 'N Golf Estates, 6809 Winslow Dr., just off Lucerne Park Road.
According to Bird, residents will make up the agenda and can bring up any issues, concerns or suggestions. Reservations are not needed, and residents can come at any time between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
