An Armwood High School senior is facing several charges including DUI after troopers said he drove the wrong way and later kicked out a patrol car window.

According to FHP, troopers spotted 18-year-old Stephen Moore, of Seffner, driving a black 1992 Jeep Wrangler eastbound in the westbound lanes of Fowler Avenue in Tampa at 2:53 a.m. Friday.

Troopers attempted to stop the Jeep, but said Moore kept driving. The short pursuit ended a few miles later when troopers said Moore turned onto northbound Williams Road.

Moore was arrested for fleeing to elude, DUI, resisting arrest, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Troopers said Moore refused to provide a breath test.

Additional criminal mischief charges were added for Moore after troopers said he subsequently kicked out the rear side window of the patrol car he was being transported in to the jail.
