The Tampa City Council District 6 runoff election is taking place Tuesday.

After none of the three candidates got a majority of the vote during March 3's general election, that set up today's runoff for the seat between the top two vote-getters Guido Maniscalco and Jackie Toldeo.

District 6 covers West Tampa, Seminole Heights and parts of South Tampa.

This race pits Toledo, 38, a civil engineer from Beach Park against Maniscalco, a 30-year-old jeweler from West Tampa.

Here's what voters need to know:

This election is only for voters living in City Council District 6, and voters must vote in the polling place assigned to their precinct. If you are not sure where to vote, click here.

Polling places will be open from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.  If you arrive at the polling place after 7 p.m., you will not be allowed to vote.

All voters should bring a Florida Driver License or other current and valid photo and signature identification to the polling place. If you don't have identification, you may vote a provisional ballot. A list of acceptable IDs is in the Election Day section of VoteHillsborough.org.
