The Bay area will have a warm and humid day with a low rain chance, according to Bay News 9 meteorologist Juli Marquez.

"The afternoon sea breeze will keep the temperatures at the beaches in the 70s," Marquez said. "But inland temperatures will reach the low to mid 80s this afternoon. There's a slight chance of some isolated showers."

There will be an east to southeast wind in the Bay area today and partly sunny skies.

Winds will become southwest this afternoon and may keep some sea fog along the coast. Winds will increase by Thursday when a cold front moves into the area.

Rain chances will inch upward by the end of the week with some cooler weather on Friday.
