Hillsborough County Sheriff's detectives are searching for armed men they say fired a gunshot during a fraternity party last week near the University of South Florida.

According to deputies, the incident happened Friday at 3:50 a.m. at the Sunridge Condominiums at 5014 Sunridge Palms Drive.

A group of fraternity brothers were hosting a party when there was a knock on the door. When the door was opened, two men were standing there and one of them was armed with a shotgun.

No words were exchanged and the group immediately tried to close the door. That's when the second suspect aimed the weapon at the door and fired one shot.

There were no injuries.

The group was able to close the door and call 911.

The first suspect is described as a black or Hispanic man in his early 20's, 5-foot-9, 160-170 lbs, big eyes, thin trimmed goatee and mustache and wearing a gray hoodie, long shorts and tan boots.

The second suspect is described as a black or Hispanic man in his early 20's, 5-foot-9, 160-170 lbs, wearing a dark blue or black hoodie, jeans, with a bandana covering most of his face from his nose down and armed with a black assault rifle.
