Today's sunny start will be met by warmer temperatures in the Bay area later today.
According to Bay News 9 meteorologist Juli Marquez, skies will be mostly sunny to partly sunny Tuesday with a slight chance of afternoon showers.
"We can't rule out an isolated shower today," Marquez said. "But those will be inland. We'll have plenty of sunshine in the afternoon and partly cloudy skies tonight."
Temperatures are much warmer to start the day compared to Monday and high temperatures will approach 80 degrees away from the coast this afternoon.
Rain chances are 10 percent today but will increase as the week goes on.
