St. Petersburg residents have one more day to take a survey on the pier.

The Pier Public Survey closes on Friday, March 6 at midnight.

The survey, along with the seven shortlisted design concepts for the new St. Petersburg Pier, are online at http://www.newstpetepier.com. Or, you can get assistance with the survey at any of the St. Petersburg Community Libraries. For locations and hours, visit: http://splibraries.org.

The results of the survey will be released on Monday, March 9 at 2:30 p.m.

To take the survey, first familiarize yourself with the seven design concepts by reviewing the various video presentations and documents on www.newstpetepier.com.

A summary comparison chart illustrates how each design concept meets each of the required elements from the Pier Working Group.

The Pier Working Group was established to review, update, and recommend common activities/elements consistent with the desires of the community.

Enter your name, address and birthdate to participate in the survey and choose up to three design concepts. This information will be used only to validate your participation and not used in any other way. You may take the survey only once.

The Pier Selection Committee will use the results of the non-binding survey to rank the seven concepts and present a recommendation to Mayor Kriseman and City Council on March 20.
