A St. Petersburg man is facing charges in connection to a mural that was vandalized in December.

At the time of his arrest, Jonathan Scott Corbett, 24, was already incarcerated at the Pinellas County Jail for violation of probation.

Police said on December 18 an outdoor professionally painted wall mural was vandalized at the building located at #8 6th Street South.

The mural was damaged by the suspect "tagging" the mural on several spots with a signature "HTWOO The Artist" (H2O) with permanent market.

Corbett was charged with felony criminal mischief.
