Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies, firefighters and volunteers from Calvary Episcopal Church in Indian Rocks Beach church will deliver Easter meals to 50 families in need Thursday.

The group will meet at 3 p.m. at the Publix store at 12022 Indian Rocks Beach in Largo and spread out to the Ridgecrest, Highpoint and Lealman areas, delivering ham dinners.

The meals include a ham, sliced pineapple, green beans, corn, mashed potatoes, a bag of Navy Beans, jar of peanut butter, jar of jelly, loaf of Publix bread, box of Little Debbie Easter cakes, jelly beans, iced tea and apple juice.

This is the 11th year for the event and the partnership between the organizations. They also conduct similar events for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Feeding families in need is a year-round endeavor for Calvary Episcopal Church. Church members continue their work through the Beach Community Food Pantry.

The pantry is open every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Calvary Episcopal Church and accepts monetary donations and all non-perishable food products. Anyone who would like to help with holiday meals or the food pantry can contact the Calvary Episcopal Church at 727-595-2374.
