Two people were hospitalized early Wednesday after a crash in Riverview.
Authorities said a 35-year-old man ran a red light on U.S. 301 at Riverview Drive at 2:45 a.m. and collided with a car turning left onto 301.
A 19-year-old woman was driving the car that was turning. She was taken to Tampa General Hospital in critical condition.
The man also was taken to Tampa General Hospital. He is in serious condition.
The intersection was closed until 8 a.m.
The Florida Highway Patrol is still investigating and has not released details of the crash.
