A Hernando County woman is set to graduate from law school and she can't even go out for a drink to celebrate.

Robyn Crawford is one of those people you meet once and a while who had it all figured out at an early age. She knows what she wants to do and isn't wasting time.

She is finishing up an internship at the State Attorney's office in Hernando County. Robyn is only 20 years old and she is done with law school.

"I realized I can really make a difference in peoples lives," she said.

Robyn fell in love with the law early on. She started taking college courses at age 14. By age 18, when most are graduating from high school, she started law school. She crammed three years of law school into two years and one semester.

"Failure was never an option for me," she said.

Robyn has only gotten one "B" and one "C" during her educational career. Assistant State Attorney Candace Preston says she's going to make a great lawyer.

"One that has a lot of passion," she said. "Excitement for what we do."

The next step is passing the Florida Bar exam and Robyn plans to do that before her 21st birthday.

"Sometimes I do think I have accomplished a lot in a short amount of time, but it doesn't make me feel like I'm different from anyone else," she said.

A humble young woman who is not messing around when it comes to the law.

Robyn will be graduating from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Riverview in the top five percent of her class. After that she's going on a cruise to relax a little.
