For fraternal twin brothers Jared and Connor Prince everything has always come in twos.

And when you can wrestle as well as them, it typically means racking a ton of wins.

Jared is a three time state champ while his 13-minute-older brother Connor is a 2 time state champ.

Their parents say this has always come naturally to them.

“They started out at about 7 years old and were successful from there word go and it just kind of kept going on and on from there, they really took to it like fish to water,” said the twins father, Mark Prince.

And while they share ever thing in common, you’ll be surprised to know their wrestling techniques are different.

Jared is instinctual while Connor is more methodical.

The two currently hold the state champion title in their weight categories and they are set to graduate next month from their Palm Harbor University High School.

And as you can imagine, every Division 1 school was eyeing these wrestlers making it a stressful process.

“The option of schools to go to were really good, Virginia and NC State were really good schools and had great education,” said Jared Prince.

But they wanted more than just great education.

“It’s more than just wrestling for us,” said Connor Prince.

The twins say it’s about giving back to their country which is why they decided to join the Naval Academy.

There they’ll continue to wrestle and have the supportive structure they’ve always had through the sport.

His sons’ choice makes Mark Prince a proud dad.

“They did everything I could have ever hoped for really,” said Mark Prince.

“I think we are all just really amazed that they chose the harder path, that they wanted something that had an end result than just a resulting,” said twins mother, Karrale Prince.
