Bicycle-pedestrian committee to meet Thursday in Lecanto

Residents will have a chance to get updates on several proposals for hiking and biking trails in Citrus and Hernando counties this week.

The Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee of the Hernando/Citrus Metropolitan Planning Organization will hold a public meeting at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the Citrus County Transit Center, 1300 S. Lecanto Hwy in Lecanto.

Topics to be discussed include review of Suncoast 2 proposed trailhead locations, review of the Draft MPO Complete Streets Policy, and updates on Hernando and Citrus counties bicycle maps and regional trail maps.
