With scattered storms dying down this evening we’ll have partly cloudy skies overnight.

Morning lows will be in the mid to upper 70s.

Saturday will start with a few scattered storms over the Gulf, otherwise partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies over land.

Scattered storms will form through the afternoon and drift west toward the beaches in the evening.

Highs will be in the low 90s.

The rain chance will be at 50 percent.

The forecast for early next week depends on the track and strength of Tropical Storm Erika. Overall confidence is not that high at this time for the forecast for Sunday through Tuesday.

It does look like we will see an increase in rain chances Monday and Tuesday with rain likely then back to scattered storms for Wednesday and Thursday.

Daytime high temperatures should be near or below normal in the mid to upper 80s due to the expected increase in clouds and moisture through Tuesday.
