Parents and neighbors can weigh in on proposed new school boundaries at a community forum Thursday night.

The event will take place from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Central High School, 14075 Ken Austin Pkwy, Brooksville. School staffers will present maps showing how boundaries have been redrawn, and they'll listen to any objections.

The School Board considers rezoning about every years. The need is more pressing this year because of a disparity in school capacity.

A final plan will be presented to the School Board on Sept. 29.
