Tropical Storm Ida is showing new signs of life in the central Atlantic Ocean, about 1,695 miles west of the Northern Leeward Islands, though it's still no threat to land.

At 11 p.m., the center of Tropical Storm Ida was located near latitude 18.9 North, longitude 47.0 West.

Ida is moving toward the northwest near 14 mph (22 km/h).  

A turn toward the north-northwest with a substantial decrease in forward speed is expected on Monday, followed by a slow meandering motion on Tuesday.

Maximum sustained winds are near 45 mph (75 km/h) with higher gusts.

Some strengthening is possible during the next day or so, followed by little change in strength after that.

Tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 175 miles (280 km) from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1005 mb (29.68 inches.)

Tropical depression No. 9 has dissipated.
