Crisp, cool temperatures greeted people biking, walking and running along Bayshore Boulevard in Tampa on Wednesday night.

Loredana DiCosola and Nicole Pignotti are from Venezuela.

They are studying at the University of Tampa and said this weather is nothing like it is back home.

"I mean, it's so cold. My country is about 90 degrees right now and this is about 50 degrees so it's crazy," said DiCosola.

"I'm used to being in summer like weather every day and this is very different," said Pignotti.

People said they're determined not to let the cold throw them off their stride or ruin their exercise routines.

"To be honest, it's a challenge with my manager to see who can actually get in shape within a month so I'm out here trying to beat her and I won't say her name but it's a challenge to try and get fit and healthy for the summer," said Clinton Coles.

Joggers said they plan to enjoy it while they can.

"I can take this for another week or two, maybe a month, and then I'll be good," said Thomas Bernfeld.
