A man suspected of attempted murder of a Pasco County deputy has been arrested.

Seminole County Sheriff's Office personnel, with the assistance of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, arrested J'Rokton Williams, 26, in Winter Springs Wednesday evening.

Authorities say on Feb. 6, deputies spotted a car known to be driven by Williams, who was already wanted in connection with another felony.

When deputies approached the car, Williams first accelerated toward one of them, then fled the scene. No one was injured in the incident.

Williams was booked at a Seminole County jail.
